Making A Complaint

Want to set the record straight about the Borough you live or work in?

Not many of us like making complaints - it takes time and effort and can be annoying if we don't see results, fast!

But what happens if you've got a problem you need to share or you feel you're being treated unfairly? How do you sort that out?

The link below takes you to the council's complaints page. This is where you can log a complaint or a suggestions for improvement about how things are going in your life or local area.

Here are just some of the things you might want to speak up about:

Licensing of local taxis, pubs and clubs

    Leisure centres and swimming pools

    Local parks and play areas

Libraries with free access to the internet

    Affordable housing

Help for people who can't afford their rent or council tax

Decisions on what new buildings are built and what they can be used for

Street cleaning, rubbish collection, recycling and removing abandoned vehicles

Education - schools, after school clubs, play schemes and youth centres

Social care for some children and young people

Education allowances for young people in further education

What's happening to prevent crime in your area
