The Hungry Horse (by Emma) 27 Jun 2008  10:52:08 am

Last Thursday there was a touch of summer paradise in cloudy Chingford. The Hungry Horse restaurant, part of the Greene Man Pub, threw a beach bash to beat all others.

Chef Paul cooked up a storm with a traditional Jamaican barbeque which one guest Maria described as 'the best meal iv had in ages'.

Fun in the sun was available for all as guests got stuck into the challenge of the surf simulator. The young, the old and even the staff attempted to show their skills, most of the adults falling miserably, and once you'd failed at the surfing you could always show your dancing skills and boogie on the beach with the outdoor/indoor disco.

The bubbly friendly staff topped off a successful night with plenty of fun. Who needs Spain!
